The All India Mathematics Olympiad 2026 is a national-level, rank-based mathematics challenge designed for students who want to test their true problem-solving ability.
This Is the 1st edition of AIMO | IIT KGP 2026
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill
Mathematics and Science Olympiads are far more than competitions—they are platforms that identify talent, build advanced thinking skills, and prepare students for the future. In a country like India, where millions of students study within a standard curriculum system, Olympiads play a crucial role in helping exceptional minds grow beyond textbook boundaries.
Olympiads encourage students to think independently, solve unfamiliar problems, and develop creativity instead of relying only on memorization. In today’s world, innovation matters more than rote learning, and Olympiads help nurture exactly that mindset.
Olympiad questions test reasoning, patterns, strategy, and deep understanding. This helps students become stronger thinkers from an early age.
Many students are capable of much more than what regular textbooks offer. Olympiads provide a higher level of challenge and intellectual growth.
Preparing for Olympiads teaches consistency, patience, time management, and the confidence to face difficult challenges.
Students who train for Olympiads often perform better in exams like JEE, NDA, CUET, SAT, and other aptitude-based tests because their fundamentals become stronger.
Olympiad achievements are highly respected by many national and international institutions. Strong performance can strengthen academic profiles, scholarship applications, and admissions opportunities. This is a major step being increasingly recognized by top institutions.
India needs scientists, engineers, mathematicians, economists, and thinkers. Olympiads help discover talented students early and guide them toward excellence.
Students who rise through Olympiad pathways often represent the nation at international competitions. Winning medals and honors on global stages brings pride to our home—India.
Olympiads reward talent, dedication, and hard work. They create a culture where excellence is celebrated.
Students across standard 8th to 12th are eligible for the exam.
Junior Level : 8th - 10th Class
Senior Level : 11th - 12th Class
Note: Class of students will be considered as per academic year 2026-27
“Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.” — VD Bees
India has one of the world’s largest student populations. If young talent is given the right platform, guidance, and competition environment, the country can produce world-class achievers in mathematics, science, technology, and research.
Olympiads help shift education from memorizing answers to creating thinkers.
Take the challenge and prove yourself at a national level.
